selecting text in status window

is it possible to make the status window auto-scroll when selecting more than it can display? and it'd be good if it can select backwards too.

As I say to every suggestion as of late, we are currently in a feature lock and no features will be added until 2.0 is completed.

However, this seams like a good idea and has an actual use (unlike most suggested features :p)

So im sure bigstar will consider it ;)
