Disabling liveupdate

Hi I'm a registered user using ver ver20RC2(868)

Just wondering if there is a way to diable the live update - I am unable to get through the firewall at work to get the update list and the delay while the program tries each time I open it is painful

your firewall blocks http requests:confused: how are you browsing web?
there is no way to disable liveupdate. you can set it to run less often, but not disable

It sounds like there is something wrong with your copy of FlashFXP, if LiveUpdate fails it should not retry the next time you start FlashFXP. It's not designed to do that.

like bigstar said, its most likely not liveupdate thats causing the delay. do you actually see the dialogue thats trying to run and connect to our liveupdate server? check to see if your start in folder is a network share and if that network share is available.
