You haven't provided me with any useful information on how to reproduce the bug, because it works fine here.

since thats exactly what you posted before yes he does need more info. Post up the versions of all the software your using. Scripts, bot, and what not. Version of OS could help. That would at least be a start. From there Neo will need to tell you what else he might want.

If you want an example go check my recent port about overwriting files. You'll notice i listed versions of everything, and given a small run down on what i've tried already.

Pasting the same error message every post doesn't provide any new information.

What would be useful is:
- The version of Windrop, including the patch level (e.g. v1.6.17).
- Where you downloaded the Windrop binary from or if you compiled it yourself.
- The version of Tcl that Windrop is using, including the patch level (e.g. v8.4.12).
- How you installed AlcoBot (what lines you added to eggdrop.conf and where you placed the AlcoBot directory).

And why are you using AlcoBot v0.5 when v0.6 is available?

I got windrop v1.6.17 cygwin binary standard edition downloaded from http://windrop.sourceforge.net

cygwin 1005.18.0.0

the version of tcl (hope this is the correct one ) libtcl8.4.dll and patch level ??

alcobot is installed on c:\Windrop\AlcoBot\ and I place the line source AlcoBot/AlcoBot.tcl

lol dunno why I am using version 5.0 updating now :)

Try bounty's cygwin build of Eggdrop instead.
