View Full Version : Stats.dat (again)
How come my stats.dat only has
[#Total#]
LR=37203.6156862269
Isn't there supposed to be X, FU and FD as well?

Yes there should be, However LR = Last reset on, you sure you didnt reset your stats?
Also make sure none of the files in your FlashFXP folder are read-only.

I resetted my stats as suggested in the earlier thread, as I didn't even have the stats.dat.
However, after resetting I get a stats.dat with only the field LR.
Shouldn't there be other stats for FXPed, uploaded and downloaded files?
None of the files are Read-Only, by the way.

Remember my earlier thread?
I want to use a mirc script where it can display my FFXP stats.
Based on what I read of the script, in stats.dat, [#Total#], I am supposed to see X=something, FU=something, FD=something.
Now all I see is LR=something, which is last reset.

After performing a transfer those stats will be be added/updated to the stats.dat
perhaps your mirc script is messing it up?
I don't know, stats are working fine for me.
Hi bigstar, I tried adding X=1, FD=1 and FU=1 to the file and it works now.
edit: Nope it doesnt work... :(
Do I have to use the site manager for the stats to work??

Hello, I'm not having problems with the file but want to know how to calucalte the date from the number given in the LR= field. To go from some number 37115.8234698264 to the date that it represents.
Also, if I have multiple flashfxp's open at once will I loose stats or does it get around this?

The date is a TDateTime format in delphi..
If you have multiple copies of FlashFXP open there is a very low risk of incorrect stats.

hey bigstar and the others, seems that mirc scripts are showing only stats from site present in the site manager...
Why ?

I know nothing about these mirc scripts or how they function.
I don't recommend accessing any of the data files outside of FlashFXP, as this may cause corruption and lost of data. These data files are not standard ini files.
Cool, is FlashFxP written in delphi?
Bigstar if you want one of those scripts to see how they function i can provide you one, check here (http://monsternet.game-point.net/goodies/mirc_addon_flashfxp.htm)
Heyya,
I heard there is a new addon out where you can see your current Flash Speed in FlashFXP, also how many FlashFXP windows you have open (how many threads) and what you're speed altogether is.
Anyone knows where to get this script/addon??
Would be great,
thanks.

i never heard of such addon..
For those that want to know about the delphi timecode so they can convert it in mirc:

i wrote a small script to show flashfxp stats in mirc, if you want an explanation of this code you can pmsg me or something.. just change the variable for the location of your stats file... (fyi: it only shows the stats of sites that are in the stats manager)
alias flashfxp {
set %`fxpfile C:\Program Files\FlashFXP\stats.dat
var %fxpdate $readini " $+ %`fxpfile $+ " #Total# LR
var %fxpup $readini " $+ %`fxpfile $+ " #total# FU
var %fxpdown $readini " $+ %`fxpfile $+ " #total# FD
var %fxp $readini " $+ %`fxpfile $+ " #total# X
say FlashFXP Stats Since $asctime($calc(($left(%fxpdate,5) - 25569) * 86400),mm.dd.yyyy) $+ : FXP: $bytes(%fxp).suf Download: $bytes(%fxpdown).suf Upload: $bytes(%fxpup).suf
}
Yes thats what I've too.
But is it possible to show current FLASHSPEED? And how many threads I use ? etc.

The only way it can be turned off is by adding a string in the flashfxp.ini
Unless you have added that string, it should be working... maybe bigstar remembers the string, so you can check it..

you're using application password protection the entire file is encrypted. there's no way to access the information externally.
