ProFTPD will immediately close the connection if you attempt to FXP a file and ProFTPD is configured to block FXP.
There have been some reports that ProFTPD will sometimes close the connection even when FXP is allowed. Perhaps a bug in the FTP server? I'm really not sure.
From what I have seen it doesn't appear to be a problem with FlashFXP.
