Hi, just because I wasn't able to post in the threads which dealed with multilanguage support.
What i have noticed: the main problem is the string container size alternatively size of the description depending on the language.
Well, why don't use baloon-tips? As you point over the abbreviated description (if it is too long).
Another solution could be a status line at the bottom.
If for instance in spanish is no approximate abbreviation use the english one and show spanish baloon-tips.
Btw.: baloon-tips could be used for online help and the statusline for translation or the other way around.
