Default Batch rename

Hello!

I would like to change selected files extension and I think that "Custom Command" can be useful to do this... But Help doesn't help much. If it's possible to get only filename (or only extension) or split full filename by last dot ('.')? I have many files and manually changing is somehow difficult.

Where can I find more information about "scripts" ("custom commands")?

Regards,
Marek
