Yes flushed directory cache. Just tested on seversl other files and it behaves the same way. I can CHMOD files to anything else but 444. The script using the config.php file is also telling me that it needs to be 444, before continuing. After CHMODing via cpanel the script continues.

On another note has anyone had their sigs deleted? I'v had to redo mine again.
