I have succefully been able to reproduce the delete bug.
This bug occurs with BASIC ioftpd config, without any sfv.
First I connect to 127.0.0.1 and fxp a directory of mp3s from the server to another directory on the server. All the files transfer without error or at least error msg.
I then proceed to attempt to delete the transferred directory. Here is log.

The files when checked in explorer, are still there although io can't see them.
DELETion of this dir works in 5.8.4 and backwards , after that it doesn't work any more.
I also tried different ftp clients.
