GoAgent v1.2 |
|
Since Agent does not provide the necessary restart and resume functions most of us require I have created Go Agent. Go Agent fills this need by automating Agent and restarting failed tasks. The following tasks can be automated in any order- Get marked message bodies
- post all usenet and email messages
- Get new headers in all groups
- Get new headers in selected groups
The time between checks is user defined, so you can for instance automate getting new headers every 6 hours.
Go Agent allows you to hide the Agent window while it performs its task in the background.
Requirements You must check the following option located in the "User and System Profile" on the "Online" tab. [x] Continue processing after an online error occurs Go Agent uses the text "Agent" in a window caption to determine whether or not to automate the window. Go Agent will attempt to automate all windows with the word "Agent" in it.
Go Agent has only been tested with Agent v1.8/32.548 and may not work with other versions. Please let me know if you find that other versions also work with Go Agent and I will list them here. |
