Hangs on 'pass'

Hello all!

Ok, I have a weird problem with an ftp server.
When I try to connect it just hangs on 'PASS (hidden)'. And then it times out 'Connection failed (Connection timed out)' after a couple of minutes.

The siteop of the server does not know what is wrong, and the server is working fine for other people.
And I'm 100% certain that my login information and SSL settings are correct.
So, what the h*** is wrong? I'm pretty sure that the problem is not with the server, but with me. Can there be my firewall blocking or something?

The ident request is sent at the beginning of the connection, not when the server requests a password.

Ident should not be the problem. Seem to be working fine.

I saw that FAQ-entry earlier NeoXed, and that seems like a solution, yes. But still, no other users has login problems, so...

I really dont know...There are no other solution for this problem?

Suddenly it worked. I didn't do anything, so I have no solution to the problem.
Think they did som work on the server.

Anyway, thanks for help guys. All good now
