you REALLY need to start reading the documentation and knowledge base before asking questions.

'M' - MASTER
'f' - FXP DENIED (DOWNLOAD)
'F' - FXP DENIED (UPLOAD)
'L' - SKIP USER LIMIT PER SERVICE

they are ALL in your ioFTPD.ini if you would open it and look through it, right after the [FTP_SITE_Permissions] line, in comments.....

1 is nothing
1 is a decision made by a siteop to mean a user is a siteop

1 could be i or U or t

As you'll begin to understand if you'd read any of the documentation or learn to setup the FTPd without being spoonfed.

FOR INSTANCE.

deluser = 1M

Master users (M) and userse with flag '1' can deluser. you could have

deluser = SM

and give S flag to siteops

DO YOU UNDERSTAND?

k i'm done teaching. if you still fail to understand then you should reconsider using ioFTPD because you obviously don't have the necessary means to understand it or the willingness to begin to do so

You can read the docs, you've already been given the links so wont bother again.
Otherwise do as Mr_F advised, don't use io, from the amount and simplicity of questions asked I'd say you're an ideal serv-U user
Anyone keep stats? Is there any 10 users here had to be told RTFM as much as this guy alone?

default ioFTPD.ini
Code:
[Telnet_Service]
...
...
Allowed_Users           = T !*

[HTTP_Service]
...
...
Allowed_Users           = H !*
T, H flags are just access limiter.
also you can use X, Y instead of T, H

Code:
[Telnet_Service]
...
...
Allowed_Users           = X !*

[HTTP_Service]
...
...
Allowed_Users           = Y !*
then, anybody can access TELNETD HTTPD if have X, Y flags.

sorry, poor my english.

support is given in assumption that you have made effort to understand 1) The docs, 2) the faq (see knowledgebase)

when I first started using ioFTPD i spent time working on things, changing settings, rehashing, editing files, restarting the exe to best configure it for myself. as a result i know it really well.. something that you will never have unless you FIGURE IT OUT ON YOUR OWN.

That doesn't imply you are expected to understand everything implicitly, but the docs are kb are MORE than sufficient to answer every single one of the questions you've asked so far. Along with some common sense (see your question about NOOP ... )

This is an extremely functional, yet quite complex FTPD. if you don't put the time in to understand it (which in the long run will mean that your FTPD is better than any of the other W32 alternatives) then just get servu (as ewarwoo said), because anybody who was running a FTPD that needed stat logging and all that would care enough to put in some time to learn how to configure it.

RoK, no one is trying to offend you here. The bottom line is, if you don't want to take the time to read/learn yourself - why should we hold your hand and do it everything for you. If you can't accept that, I would suggest looking for another FTP daemon, because ioFTPD clearly isn't for you (as mr_F pointed out).

Closing the thread before it becomes a "flame-fest" ...
