Default empty folders..?

I've just changed the info in the admin.vfs and default.vfs so I can share the folders I want to...
I've put the lines:
"C:\test" /
"C:\download" /download

in both of the files.
the folder "test" is an empty folder, and the folder "download" contains som data.

I can connect to the ftp but it wont list any files.
What could be the problem?

your router/firewall prolly ... check what ports io use for pasv mode and forward those ports to the box io is running on.

yeah. I've opened these ports in the firewall and forwarded those to this computer..
but maybe I've missed something in the ioFTPD.ini
what lines do I have to edit to get the right ports opened?

well if you did everything right in the ini and on router/fw it should work ... you might wanna check the external and bind address in .ini if your computer is in lan.

Lines:

Host = 123.142.12.12 ( this is your external IP ... the internet IP )

Bind = 192.168.0.2 ( this is the IP of the box io is running on)

# Undefined IP 0.0.0.0 allows connections on any IP

Host = <external ip>
Ports = <the ports i chose>
Random = True
Bind = <internal ip>

[local]

Host = <external ip>
Ports = <the ports i chose>
Random = True
;Bind =

is this correct?

My friend sent me that file and I thought it was the latest release.
ok so I'll change to the new one right now.

But I still don't understand why my shared folders are not listed on my ftp..?

.... if [local] means local as in internal ip, then that shouldn't be your external ip

So which one are you connecting to? Your internal or external ip?
Also try "this site is behind NAT" in your ftp client. if it does't have it, get FlashFXP or UltraFXP
