Default Logins per connection.

Hi,

I'm new to the ioFTPD scene. I just configured a ioFTPD, with 3 users:

admin (group = admin)
upload (group = upload)
download (group = leech)

i need to restrict the download account to 1 connection / ip. So a single person can only login 1 time. Next to that, the other 2 accounts dont need a connection / ip restriction.

My policy in Hosts.Rules is:

POLICY ACCEPT 1

What can i do? I've been googling, and searching for a while, but can't find an answer. Thnx in advanced.

you have configured that file just fine,
now all you got to do it do this :
site change <group> logins 0
this change will make <group> exluded from 1 max connections.
correct me if i am mistaken, ain't too good at this myself

I'm afraid that the POLICY ACCEPT 1 will be checked first before a login.. This means a double connection on 1 ip to io wont be possible..

True or not?

True.

Hosts.Rules is not related to accounts/groups in any way.
and "site change ... logins ..." is not related to ip in any way.

A script could do what u want.
No idea if one exists.
