Unhappy n3wbiest question ever... :(

I was recommended this program in a chan in irc but I'm really new to the whole irc and file dump things.
I tried to load it up following the installation guide found on this site but I'm not even sure how to login...let alone use scripts and all yet.
I've run the exe and i can see it running in the processes, but other than that, I am totally oblivious. Could someone please just give me a few quick n3wbie pointers on how to login and use this very basically?
Thanks to any help...

Hmmm..well I've used ftps before but I guess I was just expecting some sort of gui or interface to appear to help config. If I were to login using FlashFXP, where can I enter commands b/c I've only ever used it as a client and not as an ftp "manager".
I've used Serv-U so I guess I was anticipating something to appear for me to work with. I guess this app isn't very n3wbie friendly but I'll continue trying.
Any tips or advice is still really appreciated.
Thanks.

Check "Raw Command Line" under the "View" menu.
