Default inicom.net/forum mess

www.inicom.net shows a we've moved to flashfxp.com page, but www.inicom.net/forum shows a trivial forum setup with a couple of test posts and is starting to collect spam postings... Needless to say if you just goto the forums directly people are going to be as confused as I was.

Is there a good reason to not have inicom.net resolve to flashfxp.com right now or to have a redirector or something? Or do you plan to have a script modify all the links in the forum because all the internal forum links just broke, and that doesn't count any bookmarks or external links anywhere else...

We'll be working out these issues over the next couple days.

I've fixed the redirect so everything is going here until we get the new inicom forum up 100%. As for ioftpd, we'll be setting up a new forum for ioftpd users ASAP (migrating all existing users/content of course). Yil, please contact me directly to discuss this. As for all the links, I'll work on fixing those with an sql script.

Just FYI dont forget a good catchpa and know that there are those damn catchpa cheaters out there. I have to admin some other forums so I find those idiot spammers in vbb as well. A unique catchpa and a hand coded simple question list will stop spam bots fairly easily.

Personally I think all forums should use reCaptcha http://recaptcha.net/

It is a non profit project which presents the users with 2 words to try one being scanning from a book and another computer generated. This is translating books into text for people.
