| Not getting what I paid for
I just bought the flash fxp electronic licence, 1 quantity, yesterday since my trial version had expired. However I have still not received the licence key that I paid for and was promised immediatly. I have tried sending support e-mails and calling but I get no reply. Has anyone else had similar issues? If admin reads this could you please urgently send me the licence key that I have allready paid for?
No wonder people go after pirated software when companies run scams such as this.
Best Regards,
noiubon

I'm sorry to hear that you're still waiting for your registration key.
I'm not an expert with the payment system, In fact I don't really know much about the setup as that isn't my area of experience. That being said, it's quite possible that your credit card transaction is pending or needs manual approval. Since it's the weekend you may experience a delay in getting a response from someone who can provide you with the information you need.
Rest assured you will be contacted by someone at iniCom Networks, If not over the weekend, first thing on Monday morning. The office is closed on the weekends, though some of us sometimes offer limited support over the weekends on our own time.
I'm sorry but I don't agree with your last remark. Your your registration key will be sent as soon as humanly possible.

thanks for the swift reply. I don't always agree with my last remark either as I chose to pay for this and be legit. However when all I receive is a profile and a login name but now licence key, downloading illegaly would indeed have been a more efficient option.
My credit card was accepted and I also received a receipt in e-mail. My bank uses a high security payment system so I get redirected to them every time i use my mastercard so the payment was verified on the spot. Thats also the message I received from inicom. I will look forward to hearing from inicom on Monday then, even though it is extremly frustrating as I was told nothing about an incubation period or delay when i initially paid for this product. Delivery was supposed to be electronic and immediate according to the description.
Anyway, I am not going to bore you with my frustration. Sorry. thank you for your reply.
Best Regards,
noiubon

Have you tried logging into the Customer Portal and viewing/getting the key yourself? (not sure exactly how things work, but if your account with the website was created you may instantly have access to the key through customer portal)
Alternatively, be sure to check any/all email spam filtering just to be sure it didnt get lost somewhere by mistake, if indeed the email was sent.

I have logged into portal but it says I have made no purchases yet so it just shows a link to make another purchase. I don't use spam filters so I don't think it was caught in anything like that. I have received all the other e-mails from inicom plus I've never had a problem receiving e-mails for over 18 months on that account.
So still no license key and thus a dysfunctional flash fxp. I guess calling mastercard and getting a chargeback is the only option at this point.
thanks for your help though.
best regards,
noiubon

At this point no key has been generated. I have no clue why that would be the case. I was really hoping that someone in the sales/support department would be on this weekend.
After the 30-day trial FlashFXP remains fully functional, however a delay is added at startup. After 60 days a license is required to use FlashFXP. From the sounds of it you're at the 60 day mark which is very unfortunate.

The license purchase in question here was one of several orders that were queued for review because there was an issue with the order. We typically clear these items or ask the customer for more information the next business day after the order has been placed, if you make a purchase and do not receive anything from us or see your key in the customer portal please contact us at sales@inicom.net or use the contact us form to Sales to ask us after the next business day.
There is an additional 30 day trial period in FlashFXP after the first one ends that was put in place to prevent delays for this reason from affecting users use of the software. There may be a count of as long as 60 seconds before the program will let you continue once in this trial period however.
A message was emailed to the original poster, if you do not receive it please pm me.

With even the lead developer acknowledging and trying to assist despite this.
Talk about impatient and unreasonable.

do you really think that flashfxp would still exist if this all was one big scam where they just take your money and you get nothing in return?!
have patience and you will get what you ordered.
initiating dispute with paypal is will cause needless hassle to you and inicom and could further delay your order..but it's your life, your time so do whatever you want

Personally i dont see why it matter if the paypal address used during a purchase is different than the email used with the website. How many people do you think really use the same email address for important financial stuff as they do for forums and so on.
Paypal is secure enough that people cant just charge to other palpay accounts willy nilly, otherwise it wouldnt exist.
Besides that, in the rare circumstance that somebody is trying to charge their purchase to somebody elses account, this is basically the equivelent to bying your groceries with a credit card... the store is sure as hell not going to require proof thats its your card.
It could even be because the person bying the software is underage therefore given permission to use a parents account for the purchase.
In any case it seems to me that its not inicom's job to manage the customers finances in that respect. Especially since (after the delay) this occurs anyway... Quote: |
We typically clear these items or ...
| It doesnt bother me either way as i payed for the software a long time ago before this was in effect, but unless im completely missing something here i dont see the point...
