Capped speed at 150KB/s with new router

Hey,

Currently have FlashFXP 3.2.0 (build 1080), speed was fine and hitting 350KB/s but after purchasing a new router to help with networking it is capped at 150KB/s. Have tried changing to force active mode to use my ip and it shows error with transfer.

Does anyone know what might be the problem?

Or a few things that may help?

active/passive mode makes no different in transfer speed.
there are many crappy routers that can not handle even the most basic broadband connections.
try to remove your router again to make sure that it is causing that slowdown.
if it is responsible, check it's settings for any features that might cuase issues..or contact techsupport for your router, or get a different one
