Exclamation Ok probaly sick of this question but

I have just got a crossover lead and connected it to my ibox and PC i have done the following

Set pc to

IP: 192.168.1.4
SUB: 255.255.255.0
GATEWAY: 192.168.0.1

and xbox to

IP: 192.168.1.5
SUB: 255.255.255.0
GATEWAY: 192.168.0.1

the run your software by the way very popular this thing every dam site links here!!!!!!



Ok now me stumpped i cant seem to work out were to go from here.

I have even tried pinging my xbox from the CMD but no luck I dont have a fire wall on the PC in question as it never goes on line and is used for this type of fathing around

Any help ideas or guides for NEWBIES (AKA IDIOTS, CURSED ONES....ETC)

If you have just set it up then you really need to check the Hosts.Rules you may also want to disable the encryption in the ioFTPD.ini file (comment those few lines out).
FTPServerTools is offline

He's probably using FlashFXP, not ioFTPD.....

your computer and xbox have to be on the same subnet as your gateway.
plus if you are connecting pc to xbox directly using crossover cable, why are you specifing gateway?
