Newbie seeks help!

I've tried searching, but as I'm not 100% sure on what I'm actually looking for its not been too productive! So, I'll ask the question - if its been asked/covered before then I appologise now.

I am a siteadmin on a server a friend runs.

I am comfortable now with creating new users, assigning them to groups, setting ratios etc but I've got a question above my existing knowledge!

I want to create a folder, either within the exisitng folder tree, or external to it - whichever I am advised to do! which is only accessible by a single group, no other group (outside of admins etc) for both up and downloads.

Is this possible? If so what do I have to do!?

Any guidance/suggestions appreciated.

I suggest creating the directory and then make it private. A private dir can only be seen by the defined user(s) / group(s) / flag(s) and are not hidden to masters.
