Copy URL

I would like to see the "Copy URL" copy the real location of the file i.e. http://www.mydomain.co.uk/index.php not ftp://ftp.mydomain.co.uk/public_html/index.php

In SmartFTP when you right click a file you have the option to copy the URL as:

- FTP
- FTP w/o login
- HTTP
- Path

You set the HTTP option as follows:

This would be a feature suggestion, not a bug report.

Sorry to confuse the situation, you are right to post it here. What i meant was when you posted in the bug tracker you set the 'Category' to General / Unknown (refering to it being a bug) instead of Feature Request.

Well thats confusing, so there is basically 2 forums for suggestions then. This should be called "Bug Tracker & Suggestions" and the other just "Feedback".

This bug tracker system is fairly new (several months), the suggestions forum is infact the old forum used prior to this system being put in place. Either way, i am sure a suggestion will be seen regardless of which place it is put in. I agree the name 'bug tracker' can be a little confusing to somebody not familiar with it, for a system that accepts feature suggestions as well. Most places call them tickets (such as trac instances for open source projects).

Bumping this feature request.
Very useful, all other major FTP clients already have that feature and it's most likely only a few lines of code.
Please by all means, implement this feature!
