Default inserting links in posts

i was wondering if there's a way to change that behaviour:

I'm writing a post in this forum, and then want wo insert an url in the middle of the text and click there, then the http:// button , fill in the name and the url and hit enter, now the Url gets inserted at the end of the post, not at the position where i clicked first and wanted to enter it in the first place.
So i have to copy this whole thing and insert it there. isnt it possible that it gets inserted at the position where the cursor is at the moment ?

i think that code is a bit browser dependent...in some browsers it's inserted at the end of your post, and in some at your cursor position. if i'm not mistaken we'll be switching to vB3.x software soon so hopefully that issue is corrected there.

for me it's simpler to just type [ url=address]title[/url]
