ioZS error

Hi, i know this has been posted before, explained in different ways but i also have this problem and have no idea how to fix. Everytime a sfv. file is uploaded ioZS crashes and returns the old windows error msg.. ioZS.exe has a unexpected error and must close blah blah..

I have thoroughly checked the config and cant see any problem. Funny thing is that it worked for at least 20 sfv's before it started doing it. Now it happens on every single one.

I have tried using a different copy of ioZS.exe and done the config again and again to try and iliminate but the same every time.

No apparent errors are recorded in the log files.

Windows XP. (clean install !)
+ all the latest ioftpd, ioA, ioZs, dZSbot

any ideas ?

use another zipscript, iozs hasnt been updated over a year.
Dev is afaik quite much dead.

Yep, development is dead but as long as it's the best one around, why stop using it?

its not the best, it was one of the first and best scripts a year ago.
Its fast etc. But its a little bit bugged making it totally unusuable imo.
Its not threaded or something cuz it fails mayor on fast races..

Out of curiosity, what would you recomend instead?

might just go ahead and disable those win error msg service in

my computer / properties / advanced ...

a good alternatice may would be projectZS ...

little more work to setup but also real fast and feature rich
