# mp3-genre-group.sh v0.5 #

# This little thingy will change the group of the dir to that of the genre
# listed in the .message-file made by zipscript-c.
# Run in crontab or whatever.
# Meant to work with mp3-dirs, ofcourse.
Most zipscripts available on ioftpd.com/scripts can create sorted mp3 symlinks. They use id3 tags to get informations and then create a symlink to the dir in a specific dir. They can be sorted by genre, artist, year and perhaps others.
The mp3-genre-group.sh script works similar to mp3-genre (included with pzs-ng for glftpd) they set the group name of the directory to its genre (not a symlink). Except mp3-genre is executed by the zipscript once the release is complete and mp3-genre-group.sh is run from crontab.
One could think this is a private messages thread, looking at it's content...
Feel free to continue in pm (irc, board, email...) and please keep future discussions about unsupported scripts (scripts not posted on ioftpd.com) to non-public areas.
Thank you.
