Deny garbage files?

I couldn't find a script already that does this. I was wondering if anyone knew of a script that can check for garbage files using some sort of regexp on pre stor (.ex rel_name(1).nfo) when the rel_name.nfo already exists. Trying to avoid having users uploading duplicate nfo's and sfvs with bad names.

ZR-Ban (part of ZR-Tools) can ban files using regexps. This script won't scan the target directory for existing files with similar names though.

or u can use bountys newdir script and block *(*).nfo ... should work as well
