Default ip allow script
hey forum!

i already searched the forums but i didnt find the thread. some months back (in the old ioftpd forums) there was a thread about a little script, where i can add ips, that are allowed to enter the ftp. so even before the user is logged in and checked if his ip matched with that one(s) for his account.

does anyone know which script that was and where i can find it?

haha, no, thats not what im searching for. it was a standalone script.

i would say the opposite of host.rules. in host.rules you gonna add banned ips, and in the script that im searching for you add only those, who are allowed.

Host.rules is the only thing that checkes ip's before logging into the server.
Ithink u should read the forum for more details but now u know what to look for
