Now. I wonder cause i have had flashfxp installed in the same dir for a long time. Actually since i registered my copy. All the latest beta's i've installed in the same dir. Just overwritten the previous installation. It worked fine with the beta's, but the final version gives me this message.
I noticed another thing. As i was "browsing" the help file i noticed that you MUST click on the items in the tree with the mouse in order to change. Usually when i look in help files, i click on the top item and use the arrow-keys to look around. This isn't possible with the FlashFXP help file since mouse-clicks is the only way.

Yea same problem here with LiveUpdate after installing over top of last RC version as normal.
Live Update has been disabled if any of the following are true.
o FlashFXP does not appear to be running from the Installed location.
o FlashFXP.exe does not match the last properly Installed version.
This protects primary installations of FlashFXP from being corrupted by secondary copies or copies being run from a removable device such as a USB key.
This also prevents residual registry/uninstall data from being left behind on a machine which FlashFXP is being run from a removable device or temporary copy.
Although Raccoon's statements are true, there was a small glitch in the code that made it display the error improperly for some installations. For those of you who were having problems, please re-download the setup. It has been fixed
