Default [Investigated] configuration of !affils
Hi folks,

I'm trying hard to get the affil/pre function to work. However I have no sense how to configure that properly. Which files have to be ajusted, ioBanana.tcl only?

Would be very nice, if someone could provide me with an example or a simple docu, how configure it.

What versions of ioFTPD, ioBanana and ioA are you using ?
The posting guidelines are worth reading btw.

Could you please explain why you're still using an unregistered version of ioFTPD with a version of ioBanana that was only available to registered foundation users ?
Your version of ioA and ioBanana are outdated aswell.

Then you need to get your profile updated, send an email to support@inicom.net advising it doesn't show you are registerred.
Until you get the registration showing up no-one will help you with a regged version.

Pre functions are very much setup in ioA. Just edit the config file correctly and ask concrete questions

That's absolutely right. Starting from ioB2, you don't even have to change anything in ioBanana.tcl (or any other file belonging to ioBanana) for the !affils command to work as expected. Everything is done in ioA.cfg ; ioBanana parses that file to get the affils names.
