Exclamation Program disappeared?

My Flashfxp has disappeared! I tried to log on today, and the start menu shows the name, and all my history, but there is no icon and when I click it, it says the shortcut is for a program that does not exist! I used it successfully two days ago, what happened?

No, but I've reinstalled the program and it seems to be working fine now, but it was just a mystery that I want to prevent from happening again!

FlashFXP will never just automatically uninstall itself.

Perhaps another application removed FlashFXP?

Did you restore Windows to a previous state? as this can remove applications that were updated or install since then.

I didn't do anything out of the ordinary. Although AVG was experiencing some unexplained problems so maybe it is correlated.
