Hi,

I got a little problem. I'm using the version above and I try to connect to an sftp server with public/private key authentication.

In the key manager I specify the private key with password and in the connection type of the site I also specify the key of the key manager.

But there is no way to connect to the server.

Connection type: SFTP over SSH
IP: secret
Port: 22

Transfer/Error Window:

[R] Connecting to Server -> IP=xxx.xxx.x.xxx PORT=22
[R] Connection failed (Connection timed out)
[R] Delaying for 120 seconds before reconnect attempt #1
[R] Retry attempt Aborted

But I can connect with the program TurboFTP from the same pc. There is no problem to connect.

Who can help me to get flashfxp connect to the server ? What can I do ?

greets BalloS

Are you able to connect to another servers with FlashFXP?

Is it possible that perhaps your firewall is blocking FlashFXP?

To connect to normal ftp servers with username/password authentication there is no problem.

The firewall cannot block, because other ftp programs are able to connect. I think the problem is that flashfxp dont analyzes the private key for the authentication. So the server block the request.

This does appear to be a connectivity issue, FlashFXP is unable to connect to the SFTP server using the IP/PORT you provided. Either the connection info is incorrect or something else is blocking FlashFXP.

The user login takes place after the connection has been established and from your log above we can see that the connection is never established.

But why is it possible to connect with an other program from the same computer ?

The computer got no firewall or something else. And the problem ist only with with this sftp and this connection type.

normal ftp on port 21 is no problem and normal sftp server on port 22 with username/password authentication are no problem too.

I get crazy with this problem because I cant imagine what the problem is

So you can use FlashFXP to connect to another sftp site, but not yours?
