Unless I'm mistaken, metro ui(which is now called windows 8 ui, not "metro") are those small tiles on the desktop. If that's the case, I don't see how or the point of FlashFXP integrating that.
FlashFXP allows you to have a custom toolbar, so it's really easy to create windows 8 style, monocrhome color-less flat icons.
