Default Using a remote linux eggdrop

Yo,

Been a long time here but still havent seen a good solution to use dzsbot on a linux eggdrop.
Are people still making this ? or am i plain overlooking the script.

I saw some remote script from mouton which worked with a script from vince, but seems vince never released it

Then i found some script by badaaz which is heavily outdated
Any working script out? Or a way to accomplish this
Im kinda bored at running a windrop.....

Thanks

Default not sure that will work

since the egg has to read the logs of the ftp server, Im not quite up on all the ins, outs of this tho, I might be wrong.

but it appears that the log files are what makes this whole thing sing. (for dupe check an such).

There's always a way, I coded my own sitebot that works somewhat like SS5 for remote announces.

You have the local windrop which does not connect to IRC but sends the announces through the eggdrop partyline and one of the other remote bots announces it. (Multicasting)

I won't be releasing this script for a few reasons, idiots try to rip off the script and then complain it's not working and I can't be bothered for tech support

Perhaps you could run samba and connect to a windows device through network and access the .log files that way?
