Being a software developer myself, I think I can judge excellent quality when I see it.

I used to use free ftp softwares and was reluctant to pay to use one. I finally caved in and purchased Flash FXP about 18 months ago. And am I ever glad I did. It has saved me countless hours. Everything always works great. The software is always being updated. Overall, this is a excellent and quality software and I fully endorse it.

I have used Flash FXP for many years and it has always worked perfectly. It makes working with my websites very easy. The customer service is outstanding also.

This is far and away the very best ftp client I have ever used and have recommended it to everyone that wants a clean simple interface and good operation.
The support staff is among the best and my hats off to Big Star and the rest of the devs that continue to improve this very good program!

I've been using FlashFXP for roughly 6 years - from College, through University and for all my personal/business work too. Having such a powerful FTP program, that also very easily becomes portable is fantastic. Combined with Live Updates and free upgrades across major versions (Realistically, how many software companies offer this?), you have the workings of a great program

I love flashfxp its a wonderful FTP client, I use it to connect to multiple websites I run and I use flashfxp to connect to the servers so I can manage my sites, flashfxp is fast, and very detailed. I also love the configurations it offers so I can configure it just how I like. Just a side note customer service is great!

It always was and always will be the best FTP-Client

In this day and age, as technology is spreading and is becoming bigger and better than ever, FlashFXP is a piece of must-have technology. Whether you are transferring just a few large files from one FTP to another, or uploading/downloading thousands of small files from/to your desktop, FlashFXP offers all of this in a state-of-the-art program.

The software has easy navigation and easy setup. The colors make all operations look much more dynamic and stylish, and the program is stacked full of helpful options and functions, half of each you will never even get the use of, but are fantastic to have available. It's stable, safe and new versions are released very often, which doesn't mean that the program has many bugs (personally I've never encountered a single one), but that new features are activated all the time.

In addition to the program itself, I like how the developer(s) of this program actually listen to user feedback and I am extremely thankful of their hard work! I personally paid for the program, and it is money well spent!

Keep up the wonderful work! Looking forward to years of future development on this great piece of computer art! Fully recommended!

I have been using FTP programs for almost 20 years and this is the best one I have ever used. Most programs do not offer the simplicity of editing files right on the server and just hit SAVE and you're done! Transferring files between servers saves tons of time, custom layout and colors make things they way you like it, stability and so much more make this the best version yet!.it is definitely worth spending money on.

I bought this FTP program in 2002 and will NEVER use anything else. I love it. Currently using version 4.0 and appreciate the all the efforts that go into updating this nifty utility! A+++++

FlashFXP is the only client i ever purchased, whereas i used to use Free alternatives.

But Flashfxp has been the best purchase of a software ever. I have never gone to any other client after i started using FlashFXP.

The blazing fast updates and fixes are exceptional.

Absolutely the best FTP product available, hands down!

I started using FlashFXP years ago after trying several other FTP clients. It had everything I needed at the time and it's just gotten better and better since then. I use it on a daily basis and it's one of the few pieces of software that I use that doesn't occasionally frustrate me. It's the most well designed FTP software that I've ever used or seen hands down. Over the years I've recommended it to friends and coworkers and they've all loved it as well.

I tried many several other ftp-clients.

Some of them where very good in the first time of usage,
but after a while I ran into troubles or they are not useable enough.
In e.g. I tried filezilla / smartFTP / ultrafxp / ftprush / ws_ftp.

FlashFXP beats all of the mentioned ones and is small, handy and very useable.
I often used the import/export funktion for backup my ftp-accounts and I like how flashfxp works with a charm. I was very satisfied with version 3.6 and now I hope that 4.0 will continue the job as flawless as 3.6.

Good software - good price - and the best argument for buying is the lifetime license - well done!

I've tried FTP clients and all do the job but FlashFXP is so different! Straight-forwarded, always works, never crashes and gives you all you need multiplied by 100! If only the company had a ftp server software too I would have all my needs covered

FlashFXP 4.0 Is the best yet, and it had a lot to top. The interface is quick, responsive, and in my opinion, just beautiful.

I am glad I made the purchase of FlashFXP, its well worth the money.

The only minor qualm is the lack of multi-stream downloads (more then one file downloading at a time within the same session), but its not a deal break for me, just hope it gets added in the near future. If it was not for this minor issue, I would have given it 5 stars.

As if this app hasn't been gone enough over the years, the 4.x update adds better Win7 compatibility and a great 'edit in place' method of editing & uploading those edits seamlessly.

While I can admit I do actually use Filezilla, the fact that I own FlashFXP and use it more frequently should tell you something about this app! And since we're on this subject, Filezilla is used mostly when I'm on OSX and away from FlashFXP, which has been my mainstay for GUI based ftp apps on Windows for years.

With the 4.0 update, Flash FXP is more mature than ever! It has really good W7 support, uploads all files without any problems (never saw filezilla do something like that).

The new automatic upload after a file edit is really awesome! I see colleages use CoreFTP, downloading a file, edit it, and upload it again. With Flash FXP, it is a single mouseclick away.

I always recommend Flash FXP to everyone!

I have used and supported FlashFXP for a long time now. In the world of shareware FTP/SFTP, FlashFXP offers the best combination of advanced features and configuration possibilities that, easily suit everyday needs, making complex and repetitive tasks, easier to handle and monitor. It takes security seriously and one of the few clients that authenticates ssl certificates properly.

FlashFXP 4.0 is certainly a step forward, towards better simpler and more refined user interface, while adding robust features, which are invaluable for performing any task reliably with low resource usage and a no bloatware approach despite its many advances.
It certainly delivers consistent results aiming towards performance and compatibility with many working environments, it handles anything I can throw at it, with no fuss and is able to outperform more expensive clients, its definitely easy to use and easier yet to master, something I find critical in any piece of software.

FlashFXP is also by far the best in flexible price effective licensing, making it the best value for money and no nonsense approach to the users deployment needs that I have experienced so far. Anyone can save a bundle in the long run, since it definitely pays for itself no matter how many licenses you need.

Because FlashFXP is missing support for modern media/file management and some of its newer features need to mature, I rate it 4 out of 5, Will be looking forward for newer versions that will address its shortcomings.

I recommend it and you will undoubtedly fall in-love with it too.
