Default Bug when using 'bind data sockets to this address' in FlashFXP

I use the setting on FlashFXP (924) 'bind data sockets to this address' under Options / Preferences and set it to my external IP address so that PASV transfers work OK when i use a non internet facing address (although im using an internet facing address at the moment.)

This seems to fail consistently when trying to connect to an ioFTPD server although it works fine connecting to any other server.

Symptoms are:

A complete failure to connect - but a second connection from same flash client will then connect OK.

Directory listings hanging after switching to PASV mode.

Data Socket Error: Connection timed out

Removing the bind data sockets to address setting instantly restores normal service! I would say that this seemed like a bug in Flash FXP, except for the fact that this setting works fine with servers that are glftpd, serv-u, pro ftpd, etc. etc.

I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to explain... is server running on the same computer with client? Bind data sockets is mainly used to choose device for active mode transfers (PORT)

No, server is on a remote computer.

Setting I am talking about is in Flash - not in ioFTPD.
