Only thing that comes to my mind, is that you have some script that causes the blocking to occur.. (or your system runs out of cpu.. io thread priority is set to higher than worker thread.. so it could be possible that on very slow cpu, worker threads aren't getting enough cpu time)

ok, i took off all the scripts...

after my testing....

it only happened on mount driver(Network disk)....when uploading is over 800K/sec... if the transfer speed is under 800K it wont happen...

wont happen on local driver......

i also install serv-u ftpd .... and login serv-u when user uploading into ioftpd ...
the serv-u working fine on show mount dirver, and everything is fine also ....

so, i guess... it maybe ioftpd's problem... coz my last version of ioftpd (4.1.5) is working fine....

any suggestion ??

Have you set; Read_Asynchronous to FALSE? (it's actually setting async reads & writes... which are both needed with network mounts)
